Maula Prison

This past Monday our visiting friends were able to take a tour of Maula Prison thanks to the generous guidance of Amazing Grace Prison Ministries led by Charles Msukwa.  Charles heads up Amazing Grace, which is providing much assistance, support, and most importantly bringing the Gospel to the prisoners of Maula.  We are so blessed to partner with Charles and consider his friendship and his ministry a true light here in Malawi.

If you have felt led to support SOLID, SOLD-OUT, native Malawians who are ON FIRE for Christ the please pray about supporting Charles and his family. You can contact us for details on how.  He is a graduate of African Bible Colleges and he knows that He is called to full time missionary work here in Malawi at Maula Prison.  He has no support other than friends at this time.  His family is barely scrapping by.  But he trusts God to provide and he never looses the beautiful smile from his face.  This man is the real deal.  And we are happy to vouch for him and assist him in seeking out financial partners.  He is truly changing lives and is a real light in one of the darkest places in Malawi.  Pray for him, his wife, and his two children as they continue to minister in Maula Prison.

Charles and the ladies on the women's side of the prison.  Right now there are only about 50 or so women prisoners.  Most of them come to the Bible studies that Charles organizes.

We provided the ladies with two bars of soap, one for washing their bodies and the other for washing their clothes.

The men's side was more difficult but we were blessed to witness the Gospel being shared and the hands and feet of Jesus bringing the Good News!

Pray for Charles, his family, Amazing Grace Prison Ministries, and the prisoners of Maula Prison in Lilongwe, Malawi.
