Facebook

"D" and Nana came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. The kids were so excited because it had been a while since they had both been able to visit. Of course they were spoiled rotten the whole visit. We had just gotten through some very bad weather the day before...our power had been out for most of the day and other parts of Jackson had severe tornado damage....long story. I'll put pics up of all that later. So anyway, the weather was bad so we couldn't play outside. "D" and Nana didn't mind though. They were just ready to see those babies. I'm so glad they were able to come visit. It's hard not living close to family. Mom's only here part of the week and she's the only family we have close by. So we treasure the moments we get to spend with our family!!

On another note:

O.K. I've discovered the world of Facebook. I love it because I'm getting to catch up with so many old friends, especially my college friends. But it's not good for the kiddos. I can see how people get addicted to it. So I'm limiting myself to a certain time limit on it a day....not sure what that is yet though. Is four hours enough? Just kidding! But it's fun to see what everybody is up to. I realize what a terrible friend I've been and how easy it is to loose track of people. I feel so convicted about that. Now maybe I'll be able to keep in touch better.

O.K. it's been quite a while since I've posted any pictures. Our computer has been out of commission....but a new one is on the way!!! YEAH!! The one we have now is 10 years old! But to DH's credit he's rebuilt the entire thing and updated it as much as it can be updated. It's just time for a new one! So now that I'm back "online" I'll catch up with some pics of the past month.

Spring is in the air and with it comes the end of one sport and the beginning of another. Soccer for Tink and coach Daddy has come to an end. Below are pics of their soccer party. The girls had a great season and they really learned a lot. Daddy's a great coach!

With soccer ending it's time for t-ball to start up. Man-Man is playing his first sport this Spring. He thinks it's so cool that we're coming to see him play ball instead of Tink. This was her first organized sport also. He really loves it. And doesn't he look cute in his uniform!!?? They're the "Green Giants".

Spring also brought one of our final field trips with our homeschool group. We took a tour of our fire station and the kids learned all about fire safety. The best part, of course, was sitting in the fire truck.

There are many end of the year events taking place and as soon as I get some more pics downloaded I'll post them. That's it for now. Love you all!
