I just wanted to let you all know that Princess hurt her little foot yesterday while on a slide at the park. She won't walk on it at all. We've taken her to the Dr. and had it x-rayed and no breaks were notcied. We're keeping her on anti-inflammatories around the clock and ice. We will take her back to the Dr. for more x-rays on Fri. if there is no improvement. Please keep her in your prayers as you know it must hurt her. It's not normal that my 17month old just sits there and won't run and play.

Need suggestions...
Ok my loyal friends and family...I'm in a reading drought and seeing as how I LOVE to read this has become a problem. I've been looking for some good books to read but I just can't seem to settle on any. I love to try reading new things and am in need of a few suggestions. Some of my very favorite books have been suggested to me by my friends and I'm hoping you can all help me out of my slump. I must admit that my most recent reads have been the books in the Twilight series. While I never thought I'd like anything of this sort I actually fell in love with these books. Obviously I'm game for any suggestions. So email me, post here, or just tell me when you see me but I need some ideas of your favorite books (And yes, I've already read the Shack!).
Love you all and have a great week!

Tag! You're it!
O.K. my wonderful "tag" buddies (Amy and Tracie) I promise to do my part and place the fourth photo from the fourth album on here....AS SOON AS I AM ABLE! See, I kinda...well, I crashed the computer that holds all of my pictures. No problem, right! Well, my wonderful husband has already assured me that my photos are o.k. They were put on an external harddrive just in case something like this were to ever happen. (I guess he knows who he married!!) So I have the pictures but I can't access them at this point. At this point I only have one folder of pictures on this computer and the picture is of Princess and Man-Man sword fighting (see previous post). Now I really want that computer fixed so I can see which picture I have to post.
The funny thing is when I opened my blog I started looking through my friends blogs from the bottom of my list upward (I have no idea why I do that but that's the way I've always done it) to see who had updated. I saw Missy's first and thought....aw, how cute, a picture of her and her brother at her wedding. Then I started thinking, "Oh, no! I bet I got tagged". The more blogs I read the more tags I got. I haven't even read them all yet but I know I'm tagged twice.
So to continue the game I'm going to go ahead and tag some wonderful ladies myself. Just know that I promise to fulfill my end of the bargain as soon as I can. This should be scary!!!!
I now tag Laurie, Summer, Kaci, and Claire. Go ahead girls, you are supposed to go to your photos, choose the fourth folder, and then the fourth picture. Then post the picture and explain it. Don't cheat!!!

March for Babies
I wanted to let everyone know that Jeremy and I have signed up to walk in the March of Dimes/ March for Babies event in May. Jeremy has run a few of these types of things before but I've never done any so I'm excited. I'm also excited about the team we're going to be on. We are walking on a team called Magdalena's Feet. Magdalena's story can be found at the link provided. I also have their blog listed on my blog links. Their blog is titled, "O love that will not let me go". Please read up on this precious baby who touched so many hearts. I never had the opportunity to meet her but I love her just the same. She went to live in Jesus' arms earlier today and I ask that you all pray for this precious family. I held my own babies a little closer today and just thank God for each day we have with them. I can't imagine what Julie and Noah must be going through. Please pray for peace, strength, and support for them. The visitation is tomorrow and the funeral is Thursday.
We had already decided to walk for Magdalena even before today but now I would really like to help raise money in this precious child's name. If you would like to sponsor us then please click on the link to the right. Or if you would like to walk with us we would love to add more people to our team. I believe there are people walking for this team in New York and South Carolina as well.
Please pray for Julie and Noah and their family, as they go through the most difficult days any of us should ever have to go through. I am reminded of just how much our heavenly Father loves us in that while we were still sinners He sent His Son to die on the cross for us that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He gave his own precious child...for us! Ponder that in your heart today and thank Him for loving us.

January fun!
It's been busy this past couple of weeks but we've had a great time and have had tons of fun. School is back on schedule and while I don't believe I'll ever get everything done that I'd like we're doing great.
Tink and Man Man have been having a lot of fun with our new Bible story book. Each morning we read our Bible story first and Tink draws a picture that goes along with the story. It's her way of recalling the information and processing what she's learned. She does a great job of this. Drawing is one of her passions so I'm glad God showed me this way of incorporating her likes into the day. Man-Man listens most of the time. He's on or off. But if he's not listening he's playing with Princess so it all works out great.
Scripture memory is something I've been working with Tink on a lot this year. She's amazing at memorizing things and we've got a pretty long list of verses that she already knows. Man-Man (little did I know) has been picking them up as well. He surprised us both the other day when he finished a verse before Tink could. We were so proud of him. So he really likes to participate in this part of the morning now!
Last weekend Jeremy took the kids camping in the back yard. They were so excited. They started putting the tent up and were done with it by 6:30. Of course that's too early for bed so Jeremy hooked an extension cord to a portable DVD player and they watched Spider Man in the tent. Of course this was NOT ideal to get the true wilderness experience but the kids loved it. I made them cookies and took them milk in a thermos so it was a fun time!!
I was so excited because Princess was in bed and Jeremy and the older two were in the backyard so I had an entire night to myself. Just as I was getting excited about this and dreaming of the possibilities...I remembered the date. Jan. 2. I called Jeremy and asked him if he knew what tonight was. He said Jan. 2. I said does that date ring a bell. I couldn't believe he'd forgotten about the Sugar Bowl. Nor could I believe that I was reminding him of it. I saw my nice quiet evening fly out the door and into the tent as I let my husband come inside and watch his Bama get beat. After the game was over he came back to sleep outside and I was once again in my comfy bedroom. Well, the kids had fun and that's what it's all about. I actually enjoyed laying out there because they went to sleep by 9 and I just listened to the traffic far off in the distance and thought about how blessed I was to have such a wonderful family. God is good!

A Man of God
O.K. I know that most of the time I'm talking about my children on this blog. They do so many fun things that I just have more to share about them. But I also have an amazingly wonderful husband who is my best friend and soul mate. My entire life I prayed for a man of God who loved his family but loved his Lord more. My prayers were answered in extreme abundance when God introduced me to Jeremy.
I won't go on and on because I could talk for hours (or in this case write a novel) about how much I love him and how amazing he is. Frankly, most everyone who reads this knows him and I could never do him justice. But I will brag on the fact that last night he was ordained as a Deacon in our church. The ordination service was beautiful and sincere. I have never been so proud to call this man my husband. Thank you to the family who traveled hours and hours to be there for him. It meant so very much to him to have you at his side. We'll never forget that.
I know most couldn't make it so I'm putting up a few pictures for you to see. I hope you'll continue to pray for Jeremy and me and our family. We love you all.
