Last week we took a visit to Nkhanghamila village to see some friends who we have been helping with medical care. The first friend was Lifton and his family. Remember Lifton just received cleft lip repair with Operation Smile in August. He looks amazing! Although he will still need a palate repair in the future. We are providing him with formula and bottles to supplement his nutrition. Another lady we saw was being treated for a very severe burn on her foot. She had an epileptic seizure and fell into a fire and has been battling the wound and infection. She is doing well! Praise God! The third lady we visited was a friend of Elder Alfred. On a previous visit to the village this lady was severely ill and Alfred asked if we would mind praying over her. Of course we were honored. She made a miraculous recovery and has become a dear friend! We're so thankful for these amazing friends!
Lifton, his mom, his twin brother (whom mom is holding) and Agogo (grandmother)
Jeremy and Lifton
Doesn't he look amazing!? Two months post op for cleft lip repair!
This lady is the mother of the lady in brown off to the side. We have been treating the daughter for a severe burn she received after falling into a fire during an epileptic seizure. This mother was thanking us and thanking God for her daughter's treatment.
Our friends!
My beautiful friend in pink was extremely sick the first time we met her. A church elder (Alfred) asked us to come and pray over her. We did so gladly and she made an amazing recovery very quickly. Her baby was also sick! They both are doing great! To God be all glory, honor, and praise!
