Liwonde- May 2014 part 1

AJ and Jill were blessed to be able to go with the ConnectMed team to Liwonde National Park in Malawi!  Here are a few pictures from our trip.

For a large portion of the week AJ was able to go to the clinic to help out in various ways.  Most of the time she was in the recovery area with Mercedeh and Melissa.  They're such wonderful teachers!  Here are some photos of AJ hanging out with the team (and her brother).

ConnectMed International Malawi Surgical Event May 2014- day 2

Lozie!  This beautiful baby girl has been seeing Dr. Young since birth for her cleft lip.  She was too small for surgery last year so her mother has very faithfully brought her into the clinic for each appointment with Dr. Young.  This year she is first on the list!  She's healthy and strong!  It's time for Lozie's surgery!
