As a continuation of our "Malawi's Bright Future" post we wanted to share with you some of the amazing work being done by our friends, the true future of Malawi. Here is Luke (whom we have only just met but hope to get to know better), and our good friends Fikile, Maguire, and Blessings. They work with an organization that was started to bring the gospel and other assistance to a specific community. This is Chipampha Villages. It is an area comprised of 4 different villages. One of the villages is Christian (meaning that the chief is a Christian so by default all the villagers who live there are "Christian"), and the other 3 villages are a mixture of African ancestor worship- Gule Wamkulu- NOT Christian religion.
When Blessings, Maguire, and the team first started going to this area to teach about Christ they were literally run off by the Gule Wamkulu time after time. It took persistence and determination (and an act of God) to gain the trust of the villages. The team started doing community improvement, working with the kids, sports ministry, medical clinics, economic improvement, and other areas of growth. Now they are building a multi-purpose building (seen in the pics behind them) in which they hope to provide a medical clinic and area for other ministries.
It is the hope of these amazing ambassadors for Christ that they can make a permanent and positive change in the lives of the people of this community, and that they would come to know that all blessings and hope and faith comes from Jesus Christ alone.

If you want to know why we love what we do...here it is! We are here to support, assist, offer encouragement, and advice to amazing Malawian men and women like this- who KNOW what their country needs and what it takes to get there. They are on fire for Christ and they are ready to change their country for the good!
Please pray for Fikile, Maguire, Blessings, and the area of Chipampha Villages. Pray for the work, the spread of the Gospel, and the future of this area. To God
