The permaculture classes that we have organized and provided for are going very well. We have 8-9 solid members who are working hard all day Saturday in their classes (for 12 weeks in a row) as well as at their home on projects that are assigned each week. The classes are designed to teach the permaculture methods of farming and gardening in order to aid the participants in growing a stronger, healthier, and less expensive home garden which will provide food and hopefully income for their family! This is huge. It's a big deal. It's life changing and we pray that our students will grow, learn, and be able to teach others in their villages.

Practice rows. Here the team planted maize in the "permaculture" way. This will be compared to the "regular" rows which will be planted in the rest of the field.
This past Saturday the teams all went to each other's homes to see the progress that they are making in their own gardens.
Please pray for the team members as they learn, as they practice what they learn, and as they teach the new gardening methods to others in their villages.
