Baptism at Rainbow! (part 1)

What a wonderful week we've had here at Rainbow!  Brother Scotty's team has been here for the past week ministering in neighboring villages doing VBS during the day and preaching revivals at night.  Five different villages were ministered to during this week and it's been a life transforming time for both the Malawians and the missionaries.  Praise God for His work here!  To hear the stories and testimonies of all those involved has truly been a blessing.  God is working and we're happy to get to see some of the work and fruit!

Saturday we had a big day.  Rainbow and her two church plants came together as one in observance of baptism, the Lord's Supper, and deacon ordination.  Held on the football pitch (soccer field) here at Rainbow all of the people from the surrounding villages and churches turned out for this blessed event.

Over 50 new believers were baptized!  Praise God!!!

Julita, Monica, and Aida (three of our oldest girls) get ready to sing during the services.

CJ and Jeremy!  In the next blog post I'll have pics of CJ getting baptized!  Praise God!

May life!

May has been a fun and eventful month.  Here are a few snapshots of everyday life in the Kyser household.

We put Gidgi to work making some yummy food while she has been here!

Board games!

We started more planting in the permaculture garden to the side of our house.  Here Jeremy is showing the boys how to plant from seeds and get them started in old milk cartons.  They are then transferred to the garden.  The kids were able to pick which seeds to plant and where they were to be planted!

Movie time in the Kyser house!  The kids had NEVER seen the Lion King!  We fixed that problem!

Gidgi swinging with Veronica!

Of course SM wants to take a turn.

Fun days in Malawi!
